Edmonds College Continuing Ed Department looking for artists

to teach youth camps this summer

Calling all artists (who like kids )
We are hoping to offer some Art focused courses for our youth camps this
summer. We are wide open when it comes to ideas and I am asking that anyone
who is the least bit interested, to reach out to me, Jake Slade so we can have a
conversation about the course.
The Details:
Our youth camp program will run Monday through Friday July 5 th – Aug. 11 th . We
will be serving youth age 8-15 years old. Typically we break up our programs by
age with an 8-11 year old cohort, and an 11-15 year old cohort. This will
ultimately be up to the instructor. Camps run from 8:30am-3:30pm. Instructors
have the option for an extra hour of work for set-up and takedown. 40 hours per
week. Pay starts at $25-$30/hr.

If the course fills to more than 7 students, a 2 nd staff person will be hired in order
to help manage the group.

**Material costs for the course will be decided by the instructor and we will work
together to set a price that covers those costs per student.
