The Museum of Flight in Tukwila, Washington is seeking submissions for a group show of existing visual artwork that is conceptually connected to flight, space-travel or content within the Museum’s Collection for an exhibition in the historic William E. Boeing Red Barn, the birthplace of the Boeing Airplane Company.

On June 10, 2023 The Museum of Flight will boldly depart from its traditional flightpath to host a museum-wide, community-focused celebration connecting the region’s vibrant art scene with its rich aerospace history. Art+Flight will exhibit artwork in all mediums, plus offer interactive mural painting, music, dance and plenty of family activities. Guest speakers and engaging community events will regularly enhance the celebration through January 7, 2024.

The location of the group show offers a warm, rustic appeal with the Red Barn’s historic wooden architecture.

Artwork in a variety of media, except for the materials listed below, will be considered for the exhibition. The Museum will provide exhibition cases for artwork and installation services as appropriate for the material and artwork type.
