The City of Shoreline will host a group exhibition by merging and established artists working in a variety of media to explore aspects of Hispanic Culture. The exhibit will be on view at the Spartan Recreation Center, 202 NE 185th St, Shoreline, WA 98155; in keeping with a family-centered community facility, content should be appropriate for all ages and audiences. There is no fee to apply and at least one work will be exhibited by each applicant as long as the work is appropriate for community center display.

Deadline to apply is October 24, 2019; drop-off of work occurs Tuesday, October 29, 2019 with an opening on Saturday, November 2, 2019. The artwork will remain on view until Friday January 31, 2020 (pick up Saturday Feb. 1, 2020). The work will be featured during Dia de Los Muertos Family Celebration Event (6:00 – 9:00 pm on November 2nd) organized in collaboration with the Shoreline – Lake Forest Park Arts Council (ticketed event, pay what you can, $0 – $25, https://2019diademuertos.bpt.me/ with live music by Mariachi Fiesta Mexicana.

To apply: send up to 6 images (max 3MB each) to artentry@shorelinewa.gov, of previously made work along with short bio and statement (both should fit together on a single page). Please include a list of works with title, year, media, and price. 100% of any sales will go to the artist.
