Ceramic-Based Exhibit / Calls & Submissions
The Cincinnati based non-profit arts organization and gallery, Manifest, invites visual artists to submit proposals who are working in and around ceramics-based media who may have a strong interest in participating at Manifest during the NCECA Conference held March 2021. Please note that Manifest’s exhibits are not official Conference programs and are not endorsed by NCECA. Proposals will be reviewed beginning in June 2020 in consideration for the March 5 – April 2, 2021 exhibition period.
Manifest Gallery is centrally located within two miles of the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, Xavier University, and the University of Cincinnati, and within one mile of Core Clay and the Manifest Drawing Center in Walnut Hills.
Anyone can submit a proposal. Artists should bear in mind the need for a consistent and very strong body of work when submitting. Open to all traditional and non-traditional genre and media.
Types of proposals include solo exhibits, two person exhibits (we strongly recommend artists submit individual solo proposals and request consideration of the two-person show), and group shows (solo proposals preferred, but we have considered and accepted group proposals in the past).
