ACERCA DE LA RESIDENCIA
COM_UNIDAD es una residencia artística virtual en Perú que recibe artistas, trabajadores culturales y afines, nacionales e internacionales. La residencia tiene como finalidad re-pensar las prácticas comunitarias del antiguo Perú para construir proyectos de arte, gestión y/o educación desde el contexto de cada residente.
El programa propone un trabajo de intercambio, investigación y creación durante el periodo de un mes, en el cual residentes, colaboradores y coordinadores realizarán un constante ejercicio de diálogo y análisis del arte originario, practicas arqueológicas y comunitarias, arteducación rural y cosmovisión e iconografía ancestral de la costa, sierra y selva del Perú. Buscamos mantener la continuidad del trabajo comunitario y cultural desde el contexto de distanciamiento social.

ABOUT THE RESIDENCE
COM_UNIDAD is a virtual artist in residence based in Peru that welcomes artists, cultural workers and related, national and international to rethink the community practices of ancient Peru and create art, management and / or education projects from the context of each resident. We seek to maintain the continuity of community and cultural work from the context of social distancing.
The program proposes a work of exchange, research and creation during the period of one month, in which residents, collaborators and coordinators will carry out a constant exercise of dialogue and analysis of native art, archaeological and community practices, rural art-education and ancestral cosmovision and iconography from the peruvian coast, highlands or andes and jungle.
◾ DURATION: One month (4 weeks)
◾ DEADLINE: July 15, 2021
◾ PERIOD OF RESIDENCE: COM_UNIDAD – English: September 2021
◾ FEE PER PARTICIPANT: 200 USD (Two hundred US dollars).
