This exhibition call is open to all artists living in the Pacific Northwest who are or will become Seattle Print Arts Members. Artists must be or become Seattle Print Arts Member to be considered for the final round of jurying, no other submission fee required. Artists must join Seattle Print Arts at https://www.seattleprintarts.org/ or confirm their membership by emailing membership@seattleprintarts.org. SPA offers sliding scale membership.
All printmaking techniques are welcome, but must include at least one traditional printmaking technique (such as etching, drypoint, letterpress, screenprinting, monoprint, linocut, woodcut, etc). Artists may submit up to 3 prints for consideration. Work must be for sale. Print sheet size may not exceed 14’’ x 18’’. Failure to meet paper size requirements will result in disqualification and will not be seen by the jurors Sam Davidson and Romson Regarde Bustillo.
If selected for the exhibition, artists are responsible for delivery or shipping (with return label) of the selected print by June 25th, and will be responsible for picking up unsold work September 30- October 10, 2021. Art sales will have a 50/50 split of profits (Please note there is no associated fee for artist submission for this exhibition, other than SPA membership). 50% of sales will go to the artist, 50% will go to Davidson Galleries.
The Contemporary Northwest Print Invitation will be exhibited in August 2021 at Davidson Galleries. Opening reception is contingent upon COVID-19 safety guidelines, issued by the state of Washington.
