About the Position:
The Museum of Northwest Art (MoNA) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Development Director to lead MoNA’s fund development strategies. This position oversees all
essential development functions, including individual and institutional giving campaigns,
fundraising event planning, grant submissions, budgets, data management, staff management
and staff mentorship. Reports to the Executive Director and working closely with two
Development Associates and the Board of Trustees. MoNA fosters an inclusive and equitable
environment where all members of our community – staff, visitors, volunteers, artists, and
supporters are treated with respect.

Position Type: Full-time and exempt (40 hours per week)
Reports to: Executive Director/Chief Curator
Supervises: Two Full-time Development Staff
Compensation range: $65,000-$75,000 annually
Other Benefits: $300 per month health & wellness stipend, MoNA observes 7 paid holidays per
year. PTO (vacation, sick, etc) is accrued at a rate of 20 days/year in the 1st year of employment.
Location: La Conner, WA. Required to be onsite at least four days a week
