Gallery Omata is excited to announce it’s newest exhibition theme In My View. Artist’s are invited to submit up to 6 pieces interpreting the exhibition theme. Open to artists over 18 years old. $36 6 images/$30 3 images/$15 1 image submission fee. Gallery voting, best in show to receive $150 award & Directors Choice to receive $150 award.

The tradition of capturing still life compositions stretches back through the centuries. Artists know they are in the company of the great masters when they embark on creating a work of art depicting inanimate objects.

The focused study of an object in order to capture it in any media takes intense concentration. Every shape, each curve, line and shadow permits the artist a fresh moment in time to consider how they will interpret what they see. The outcome can feel like a magical experience when the form comes to life.

All artists over 18 years are invited to submit their entries for consideration to participate in the In My View Art Exhibition. All media except video will be considered including 2D & 3D work, painting, sculpture, works on paper, printmaking, photography and mixed media.
