Artists are invited to submit proposals for large scale or site specific installation work, self directed residencies, experimental sound/music events, and performance art.
Building 5 is a 5,000 square-foot exhibition and community space with natural light and very high ceilings. We are committed to providing opportunities for a wide range of artists at various stages within their careers. Our goal is to support new work and stimulate intellectual exchange. We offer exhibition and presentation opportunities and provide artists with exposure. We encourage experimentation and work that reflects the social and cultural contexts of our times.

Building Five is located in the Northwest Marine Art Works building, in Portland Oregon.
