Exploring the World of Fibers 2024

January 6 – February 4, 2024

The Lexington Arts & Crafts Society Weaving & Fiber Arts Studio invites you to submit work for our
biennial fiber exhibit to be held January 6 – February 4, 2024. An opening reception will be held on
Sunday, January 7, 2024.

Exploring the World of Fibers 2024, builds on the transition of the LexArt Weavers Guild into the
Weaving and Fiber Arts studio, our efforts at broader public engagement and access, and marks our
second biennial fiber exhibition. Please join us as we celebrate and showcase fiber arts from New
England and throughout the region.

The exhibit will be juried by Jennifer Swope, David and Roberta Logie Curator of Textiles at the Museum
of Fine Arts, Boston. It will be displayed in our Molly Harding Nye Gallery, an outstanding museum-style
exhibition space.

About the exhibit
Launching our gallery schedule for 2024, this exhibit will explore the broad range of work being
created by regional fiber artists and traditional and contemporary weavers. We encourage and
welcome participation from our members, artists throughout New England and the Northeast.
We hope the exhibit meets LexArt’s goals to be accessible to the broadest possible audience,
deliver a high-quality arts experience to our community and support and showcase area artists

For more information on how to submit items for consideration, see the Submission Guidelines
and note that we ask that you pay the entry fee before submitting images using the link below:
