Luminata Event Saturday Sept 21 !
Our community celebrates equinox with a beautiful and crafted community arts event.
We are currently looking for performers for the opening ceremony that sets of the event off. Specifically looking for dance , acrobatics, specialty group ensembles, water arts and other interactive performance related arts .
The event is limited in power so any performances that sound off natural acoustics such as percussive groups are welcome to apply. We also encourage other cultures and traditional folk dance groups .
Grants are avail to those who qualify. Deadline is August 18 at midnight for preliminary grants.
Visual arts , Landscape or site specific art call is open!
Only battery powered or solar light submissions are welcome to apply.
Crafted Laminated arts of all form welcome that are solar powered, glows in the dark or battery powered are welcomed.
This event is community base driven and we offer free workshops; lantern-making, batiking and more .
