CALLING ALL KING COUNTY, WA ARTISTS!

Show & Sell COVID-19 Mask-related Art Online 11/4-7/2020

The MVCAC is looking for artists to create and sell unique COVID-19 mask-related artworks at its upcoming virtual Fall fundraiser. Artist bio, headshot (or other image) and link to your website/online shop is due to mvcac@comcast.net by Friday, October 16, 2020 so we can properly promote your work(s). JPEG files of your finished mask-related work(s) are due to mvcac@comcast.net by Thursday, October 29th. MVCAC retains 25% of sales.

Original artworks may include, but are by no means limited to:
– Textile art; beaded, embroidered, knit, etc.
– Photography; stills from a video, performance, installation, etc.
– Paintings, drawings, prints, etc.
– Handmade jewelry
– Fashion-forward masks
– Sculpture

This call is open to King County residents only. Artists will be responsible for delivering artworks to the buyer or to the Maple Valley Creative Arts Center for pick-up. Contact mvcac@comcast.net for more information.

Important dates:
– Friday, October 16, 2020: bio, headshot, URL emailed to mvcac@comcast.net
– Thursday, October 29, 2020: JPEG file of completed mask-related artwork(s)
– MASK-R-ADE event: November 4-7, 2020
– The week of November 9th: proceeds (75%) of sales mailed to artists
