Delta E is a women-owned engineering consulting firm that unites an integrative and innovative approach to engineering. Delta E is seeking a professional artist to create a permanent, indoor mural within our professional workspace located in Pioneer Square.

Mural Size:
Dimensions: 12′ 4″ (Width) x 7′ 8″ (Height)
Project Budget: The total budget for this opportunity is $4,500. The budget is inclusive of artist fees, travel costs, mural supplies, and materials.

Timeline:
• July 29th, 2026 – RFQ Release Date
• August 24th, 2026 – RFQ Submission Deadline
• September 25th, 2026 – Finalists Shortlisted & Design Phase Begins
• October, 2026 – Artist Selected and Contracted
• Nov/Dec, 2026 (TBD) – Mural Installation Completed

Payment: 50% of the payment will be sent at the beginning of the project. 50% of the payment will be sent at the completion of the project.

RFQ Submission Requirements/Materials:
Please email the following items (.pdf format preferred) to mural@deltaeconsulting.com with “Delta E Office Mural RFQ Submission” as the subject by August 24th, 2026.
• Letter of Intent (200 Words Maximum) to briefly describe your specific interest in this opportunity.
• Provide images of exactly 3 examples of high-quality, completed past projects. Priority should be given to large-scale public installations, indoor/outdoor murals.
• Provide an Annotated Work Sample List corresponding to the three image samples, including the title, dimensions, medium, and year of completion for each sample.

Eligibility: Delta E is committed to supporting the local creative community and is seeking a local artist with a demonstrated technical capability to execute work at this scale, a distinct personal voice, and experience in murals are encouraged to apply. Artists must be able to adhere to the project timeline. Artists representing minority-owned or women-owned businesses are encouraged to apply. Delta E reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any or all submissions

Selection Process: The Delta E Selection Committee will review all eligible submissions carried out in two distinct stages:
• Phase 1 (Qualifications Review): All compliant RFQ submissions will be evaluated based on relevant professional experience, artistic excellence, creativity demonstrated in previous work, and the artist’s ability to successfully execute a project of this scope and scale.
• Phase 2 (Finalist Round): Up to three finalists will be shortlisted and invited to develop a design proposal, color palette, and material plan for the final selection round.
