Lynnwood, WA is looking for artists, teaching artists, or artist teams to create a nature-themed mural at South Lynnwood Park. Selected artist/team will work with students (4th, 5th, or 6th grade) in a Lynnwood public school residency. The purpose of the artist residency is to do hands-on art, and to come up with ideas for the mural. Artist/team will design the mural, incorporating the students’ ideas. Artist/team will paint the mural on the designated wall at the park and create participatory opportunities for students to be involved in the mural painting. Budget is $15,000.
