Shakespeare’s Fulcrum, a new gallery opening in Hudson, NY in April 2021, is actively welcoming submissions from emerging artists for an upcoming exhibition entitled “The New Divine Feminine”. Submissions of all art mediums are welcome that explore the concept of “The New Divine Feminine” in our contemporary culture. Sales from the exhibition, juried by Terry Fugate-Wilcox, renowned artist and owner of Shakespeare’s Fulcrum, will support Hudson Culture Coalition’s revitalization of the historic Venus Fountain located at 7th Street Park in Hudson, New York. HOW TO APPLY
– Please submit 1-3 artwork images to: monkeys@shakespearesfulcrum.com with the subject line OPEN CALL: The New Divine Feminine
Submitted artwork images must be labeled with artist’s name, name of the artwork, dimensions, medium, and year: Lastname_First_dimensions_medium_year
– Include a short bio/artist statement and link to your website/Instagram

ADDITIONAL EXHIBITION INFORMATION
Selected artworks will be displayed in The New Divine Feminine exhibition at Shakespeare’s Fulcrum in May 2021. Only original artworks are accepted and allowed. Exceptional pieces will be purchased in advance from the artists by the Actual Art Foundation, and will then be for sale to the public during the exhibition. Proceeds from the sales of the art during The New Divine Feminine show support the revitalization of the Venus Fountain in Hudson, New York.
