Make.Shift Gallery is now accepting proposals for solo and group shows in 2020. Submit your proposal by filling out the application below. DEADLINE: October 14, 2019.
Art shows typically hang for one month. Opening receptions take place during Art Walk, the first Friday of the month from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The gallery is comprised of an entry room and a larger main gallery, totaling approximately 105 linear feet of wall space.
Shows will be considered based on availability of dates and quality of work. 2020 submissions will be reviewed by a jury of local artists, and Make.Shift staff, volunteers, tenants, and supporters. We prioritize works created by local (Bellingham-based), emerging, and marginalized artists. We are primarily looking for art that is fresh, innovative, and critically engaged.
