Open Call! We are seeking an artist to collaborate with for our 2021 New Traditions festival!
For the first time we’re excited to have the opportunity to work directly with an artist to produce a piece of artwork and associated programming for the TextileX Month festival that will be prominently featured in promotional content and marketing materials.
The selected artist will receive an artist fee of $750 for use of their artwork and for the accompanying programming.
We’re looking for artwork and programming which:
Communicates a unique take on ‘New Traditions’
Creatively approaches and/or represents textile practices
Reflects and engages the multicultural, diverse Portland community
Expresses innovation and curiosity
