The Living Artists Collective will hold our first “open house” community show in August/September 2020. It will serve to celebrate the soft launch of our group house providing affordable community-style housing and work space for visual artists. You don’t have to be a current resident or member to participate. Our goal is to bring together work from community members and celebrate the infinitely worthy pursuit of art in these uncertain times.

Accepted work will display on the walls and throughout the common spaces of the home, plus outside weather permitting and online via livingartistscollective.com. Visitors will be asked to sign up for a slot to view the work and will be required to wear masks. No more than one party of people will be allowed in the house at once to keep everyone safe.

There is no set theme or time restriction for artwork submissions, but we encourage you to submit works created since the beginning of the Covid pandemic and resurgence of the BLM movement.

The Living Artists Collective will NOT take any sales commission, simply direct prospective buyers to deal with the artist. This means you’ll be responsible for taking payment and coordinating pick up/drop off. We’re happy to help facilitate pick up or delivery from the house.

To apply, submit digital documentation of up to 5 pieces with a short description of your work including:
-medium
-size
-price
-year of completion
-artist statement you would like displayed along with the work

Accepted pieces must be finished for display, and we will coordinate with you to drop off or have your work picked up. Email submissions and clarifying questions to info@livingartistscollective.com.
