The Orchestra Personnel Manager contracts musicians for YSO orchestra services and prepares all schedules, payroll documentation and communications concerning the concert roster for each YSO orchestra concert set. The Orchestra Personnel Manager attends all rehearsal and performance services to coordinate personnel issues and is primarily responsible to ensure that the orchestra and all musicians are in compliance with terms of contracts and the current Players Handbook. The Orchestra Personnel Manager is responsible to advertise, prepare and manage auditions for vacancies within the orchestra roster. The position may be expanded through the addition of responsibilities in other areas per interest and qualifications.
