“Own The Night” Exhibition / Calls & Submissions
Own The Night will be a contemporary and fine art online exhibition depicting works of art that represent the mystery of night. The gallery will be on virtual display between January 1 – January 31. All artworks must include colors or imagery that represent night time, midnight, magic, mystery, nocturnal beings or animals, or dreams. The theme is open to artist interpretation. Accepting all art forms and genre’s, subjective or non-subjective works.

Please review the dates and deadlines at the bottom of this page. Entries can only be submitted online via the website. A separate application must be filled out for each exhibit.
Accepting all contemporary and fine art genre submissions. Submissions are open internationally. All work must have been completed within the years 2015-2019 and not previously exhibited at any Envision Arts Exhibition. Eligible media include, but are not limited to: drawing, painting, photography, mixed media, oil/chalk pastels, block/ink print, pottery/vessels, sculpture, assemblage, digital art, collage, metal work, jewelry design, fiber/textile art, wood work and contemporary craft. If a genre, medium or material you specialize in is not listed, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to provide specifics about your work.
NUMBER OF ENTRIES + APPLICATION FEE
Each artist is limited to six (6) images per submission. There is a $10 (USD) non-refundable/non-transferable fee, for up to six (6) images. Payments must be submitted online at the time of application. Deadline to submit work is December 29, 2019 at 5 PM CST.
ARTIST NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
Accepted artists will be notified no later than December 31, 2019 via their provided email.
Best in Show: Envisions Arts will announce one Best In Show for the exhibition. Winners will be emailed a certificate.
Honorable Mention: Envisions Arts will announce between one and three honorable mentions in varying categories. Winners will be emailed a certificate.
JUROR / CO-JURORS
Envisions Arts Founder / Director, and Dallas-based artist, Ginger Cochran has curated and/or served as a juror, for numerous group or collective exhibitions throughout north and south Texas, as well as Los Angeles, California; Phoenix, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. She is director and curator for Armadillo Art Gallery in Denton Texas as well as The Continental Lofts Art Gallery in Dallas Texas.
The exhibition will be publicized locally, regionally and nationally via our social media platforms, email, and press release. Envision Arts reserves the right to use photographs and/or digital images of any accepted work for the purpose of publicity for either the exhibit or the artist.
