Hello, Artists.
We invite you to contribute to our exhibit “Perspectives” at The Confluence: Art in Twisp,  Washington. The show will open on November 19, 2022, and will run through January 7, 2023.

Exhibit Description
Perspective is relative. A bird’s-eye view is massively different from a bug’s-eye view. How has an extended period of isolation changed how artists view the world? Has this experience encouraged artists to look at things from new perspectives, or has it concentrated and deepened each artist’s unique vantage point?

We invite artists to imagine the world from the diverse perspectives of humans and other creatures at different stages of life and in a range of dimensions, from familiar surroundings to far-flung galaxies.

In the gallery’s experience, works of art priced from $100 to $300 have been our best-sellers during the holiday gift season, but we welcome work at all prices.

Number of pieces to submit: up to 8

Here are the rules. Each piece must be:
• Your own original work
• Available for sale
• Created in the last 3 years
• Never previously shown at The Confluence
• Any size
• Any medium
• Ready for hanging with appropriate hardware/wire secured to work (works without
hanging hardware will not be hung)

Please note that the curators have the right to refuse work, even after work is delivered to the gallery, if it does not contribute to the direction, cohesiveness, or available space of the show. We are looking for high-quality execution and thoughtful content that contribute to the vision of the show as stated above.

Deadlines:
– Intent to Submit and digital samples of work or website by August 19, 2022 (e-mail to jomarracci@gmail.com).
-Images (jpeg preferred) of accepted work or work in progress by October 19, 2022
(email to jomarracci@gmail.com). We require 300 DPI jpeg format for our promotional materials.
-Completed works, Inventory Form, Confluence Gallery Contract, Artist Statement, and Bio to Confluence due November 12, 2022.
-Show opening: November 19, 2022.
– Show closes January 7, 2023. Work will be available for pick-up Sunday or Monday following the closing date (January 8 and 9) from 10 a.m. to noon. Please contact the gallery at info@confluencegallery.org if other arrangements need to be made beyond
those dates and times. All work must be picked up by February 7, 2023.
