Future Arts – a new Seattle-based nonprofit bridging art + technology + community in partnership with the VMF Winter Arts Augmented Reality Festival presents AUGMENT SEATTLE, a mixed reality festival transforming public space and restaurants across Seattle’s South Lake Union area into open air and interactive experience galleries.
The call to artists is currently open to any creative thinkers and technology enthusiasts for submitting their ARt proposal ideas. AR experience isn’t required, but you (or a collaborator / team member) will need the skills to model, texture and ideally animate your 3D models. You can also apply as a technical 3D collaborator or non-3D artist looking for a teammate. Our technical and curatorial team will work with you to implement your projects into AR. Opportunities range from large scale urban installations to augmented food and drink experiences.
