The Pierce County Arts Commission has issued an RFP for an art project:

Chambers Creek Regional Park ‘Locks of Love’ Art Project
With 1% for Arts funding, the Pierce County Arts Commission is seeking qualified artists to create a public art piece at Chambers Creek Regional Park that compels people to place ‘Locks of Love’ onto the art structure instead of the existing pier bridge cables. Chambers Creek Regional Park is located at 6320 Grandview Dr W, University Place, WA, 98467. If interested, please refer to the RFP listed below and submit a proposal by October 4, 2021.

Proposal must be submitted to Pierce County Procureware. Instructions for uploading submittal packets can be found under the “BID DOCUMENTS” tab related to RFP No. 21-122 in Procureware.

All questions must be submitted within the Pierce County ProcureWare software, under the Clarifications Tab not later than seven days prior to bid opening (by 9/27/21). Bidders must be registered in the ProcureWare software in order to submit questions. Instructions for Pierce County ProcureWare registration.

BIDDERS WHO REGISTER AND DOWNLOAD BID DOCUMENTS will be automatically added to the bidder’s list in the ProcureWare Bidding Software. Notifications for bid updates, addendum and other bid information will be sent to all bidders who register with Pierce County ProcureWare and are a ‘Bidder’ under this bid number.
