Seeking LBTQ+ Artists For New Queer-Centric Gallery / Calls & Submissions

Deadline
June 1, 2021

Organization Name: Gallery Maple

Organization Location: Seattle, WA

Type: Calls & Submissions

Fee: Free

Discipline:

Gallery Maple is searching for professional queer and allied artists seeking commercial gallery representation in Seattle, Washington. We are the first queer-centric fine art gallery in Seattle, and are eager to make a mark by connecting the city’s burgeoning art scene with its bold, vibrant queer culture and community. We are starting small, as an online-only gallery to be unveiled late summer 2021, but with big dreams of becoming a brick-and-mortar gallery when the timing is right.

We want to represent bold, professionally-minded artists that are interested in a long-term partnership with Maple, who are passionate about the work they create and have ambitions to work as full-time artists, selling to distinguished collectors (with our help, of course). Local artists are encouraged to apply, but we welcome all artists that are able to physically deliver their work to Seattle, WA. Selected artists will be responsible for delivery/shipment of work to Gallery Maple.

There are no restrictions on medium, and we welcome two and three-dimensional artwork

We are strongly committed to diversity. Artists from historically underrepresented communities, trans and POC artists are strongly encouraged to apply.

Please visit our website at www.gallerymaple.com/opportunities on how to submit your work for consideration.
