We are looking to fill positions in both our wood shop and in our picture framing departments. Full or part time offered, depending on the needs of the candidate.

Although helpful, no previous experience is required, just a strong interest in learning this trade.
In our picture framing department, the employee will be asked to learn mat cutting, archival / reversible art hinging, cutting (chopping) pre-finished moulding, joining frames, cutting acrylic glazing for framing projects, and fitting. May also be asked to learn how to fabric wrap mats, stitch down items (objects) being framed, etc.

In our wood shop, the employee will be asked to size and cut raw wood for in-house, handmade, wood splined frames. They will also pre-sand raw moulding, mitre-cut frames to size, join frame lengths in vices, wood spline, inlay, and shape inlays once applied. Again, although helpful, no previous experience is required, just a healthy amount of enthusiasm to learn the trade.
