On the Boards seeks candidates for part-time, seasonal production coordinators for the forthcoming 40th Anniversary Season. Qualified applicants have direct working experience in a theater, performance space, or music venue.

General Information:
Status: Part-time, hourly, seasonal and non-exempt
Reports to: Artistic Director
Collaborates with: Associate Producer, Technical Director, Assistant Technical Manager
Compensation: $18-20/hr
Schedule: 15-20 hours a week, August 2019 – June 2020.

Production Responsibilities:
-Working with Associate Producer, manage OtB programs’ usage of OtB’s facilities and
maintain OtB’s Rehearsal Space calendar.
-Maintain production calendars.
-Work closely and collaboratively with Technical Director, Associate Producer, Artistic Director,
and other members of the Production staff to ensure clear communication and all organizational
policies are being followed between artists, production, and the rest of OtB staff
-Assist with administrative duties in the production department, including answering emails,
creating spreadsheets, and general office administrative duties
-Run errands as needed to support the production needs of OtB programs.
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Direct working experience in a theater, performance space, or music venue
Clear, effective communication skills
General office computer program skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary
Ability to work with people of varying backgrounds and experience levels
Valid Driver’s License and comfortable driving a 15 passenger van.
Preferred Qualifications:
Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently
Experience using project management software (OtB uses ClickUp and Slack)
Excellent listener with strong focus on details
Effectively manage multiple deadlines, calendars, and work-flows
Undeterred by chaotic, busy environments
Comfortable with experiments and thinking outside the box
