About ACES
ACES: Artists of Color Expo & Symposium is a POC-centered and led art conference. Our vision is to establish a space for artists of color to celebrate and center ourselves. We are coming together with intentionality to value our work and see one another as resources, while focusing on the challenges and solutions we face as artists of color in the Pacific Northwest.

Internship Responsibilities
By assisting the ACES Project & Events Coordinator, your contribution will be invaluable in creating a space for artists of color to find community, resources, and inspiration. Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking part in the Artist Proposal review process
• Assisting in creating the program schedule
• Taking Planning Committee meeting minutes
• Assisting the ACES Curator in setting up the gallery space
• Creating the volunteer schedule
• Managing volunteers

Four hours per week / One day a week at the Shunpike offices
