Visual Arts Fellowship 2021-22

Description:
Emory University invites applications for a one-year Arts Fellowship in the Visual Arts, beginning fall 2021. This fellowship is supported through a generous gift from Sarah Arison 07B. We seek an emerging artist whose work involves Social Practice or New Media. Beginning August 2021, the twelve-month, full-time Fellowship offers a $45,000 salary, benefits (including healthcare), research funds, and an exhibition of the Fellow’s work in the spring 2022. The Fellow will be expected to teach one class each semester based upon their area of artistic research, as well as to engage with arts events and students on campus. In the summer session, they are free to pursue their own work. On-campus studio space will be provided. Access to Visual Arts facilities will be available from August 2021 through August 2022.
The Fellow will be expected to teach in person and maintain a campus presence for the 2021/22 academic year.

Required: MFA in visual arts
