Evelinka Puppets is hiring a studio assistant! Come join a world-famous puppet making studio that recently relocated from NY to Georgetown. We specialize in making custom professional and semi-professional hand puppets out of fleece, foam, and fur. The ideal candidate for this job will come with a creative mindset and have a variety of soft goods skills.

Responsibilities

· Sewing by hand and machine

· Cutting, gluing, and stuffing

· Working from established patterns and specifications

· Managing inventory and ordering materials

· Keeping the studio organized and tidy

· Inspecting and shipping finished puppets

Minimum Qualifications

· Basic hand and machine sewing

· Basic soft good construction

· Lifting to 35 pounds

Desired Qualifications

· 1 year working in soft goods

· experience creating patterns

· compensation: $18.50-$25
