We are seeking participants willing to be interviewed to better understand the impact of COVID on artists and designers and are seeking to do that through a research project, funded by the National Endowment of the Arts, titled “Measuring Artists’ Challenges and Resilience after COVID-19”. We are able to provide $40 Amazon gift cards to all interviewees and all interviews take place in about 90 minutes on Zoom.

We are hoping to expand our sample to include more BIPOC artists/creatives and more precariously-situated artists/creatives, as we are hoping to better understand the experiences of people who may have left the arts or considered leaving the arts due to the impact of the pandemic. Our research initially partnered with an organization that is focused on arts graduates, so our initial sample is relatively privileged and white in comparison to artists and creatives more broadly.
