Sojourn will be a contemporary and fine art exhibition at UNT CoLab Gallery, located in Denton, Texas. Sojourn will be a contemporary fine art exhibition that focuses on the human condition.
The human condition can be defined as characteristics and key events of human life. This can include, but is not limited to: birth, growth, learning, emotions, aspirations, morality, conflicts, and death. This broad topic continues to be pondered and analyzed from many perspectives. These can include anthropology, art, biology, history, literature, philosophy, psychology, and religion. The human condition is often a topic within discussions regarding “the meaning of life”. This theme is open for artist interpretation.
The exhibition will be on display from June 1 – June 29, 2023. An opening reception is scheduled for Friday, June 2, 2023, between 6 – 8 PM.

Please read the full guidelines and terms before completing the application process. Please review the dates and deadlines at the bottom of this page. Entries can only be submitted online via the website. A separate application must be filled out for each exhibit.
Accepting all contemporary and fine art submissions. Submissions are open internationally. All work must have been completed within the years 2015-2023 and not previously exhibited at any Envision Arts Exhibition. Eligible media include, but are not limited to: drawing, painting, photography, mixed media, oil / chalk pastels, block / ink print, pottery / vessels, sculpture, assemblage, digital art, collage, metal work, jewelry design, fiber / textile art, wood work, contemporary craft, soft sculpture, weaving / tapestry and original short film (must be a YouTube or Vimeo URL).
