The Jansen Art Center is now accepting submissions for the 2021 Summer Juried Exhibit! Artists are invited to submit up to five works for consideration including ceramics, painting and drawing, textiles, jewelry, basketry, glass, photography, sculpture, book arts and more.
The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM on Monday, May 10.
Juried Exhibits at the J are open to everyone in Whatcom County and the surrounding region. Each season, artists are invited to submit up to five pieces for a $35 submission fee. Submissions are judged by a qualified jury of artists, curators and other members of the arts community. The selected pieces are displayed in the Jansen Art Center for the community to enjoy, both installed in the galleries to see in person and displayed online in the virtual galleries on the J’s website. Admission to the Jansen Art Center is free to the public.
