Sweet Nothings: Postcards from Art Students
Washington State University’s Department of Fine Arts invites art students to submit small 2D artworks for consideration for an online group exhibition centering on mail art, postcards and letters of affection.
We invite art students to submit a 4 ¼ x 6 in. individualized postcard for a juried online exhibition revolving around expressions of love. The aim of this exhibition is to begin the new year with positivity and connection through the love for others and for creativity. These cards may be to anyone or anything, or to the artist’s own materials and practice. The works can be saccharine, humorous or ironic, heavy and emotional or lighthearted and fun.
These artworks need to fit on a standard 4 ¼ x 6 in. postcard and need to be addressed to the WSU Fine Arts Department. This call is open to any artist living in the United States and currently enrolled in a BFA or MFA program.

Deadline for online submission is January 31, 2021.
