The Kite Prize for Contemporary Art, an international visual art award, was established to recognize innovative visual artists and creatives who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their work. The award is juried by Amie Potsic Art Advisory, LLC choosing a winning artist based on artistic excellence, creative accomplishment, and cultural significance. There will be three Finalists in addition to the chosen Winner.
One winner will receive:
$1000 USD unrestricted cash award
Recognition of artistic excellence
A printed catalog of their artwork, which will be made available online
Their artwork digitally archived in APAA’s online portfolio: Art Histories
A 2-hour virtual advisory consultation with Amie Potsic, CEO & Principal of Amie Potsic Art Advisory, LLC.
Promotional marketing through social media and email campaigns
Three finalists will receive:
Recognition of artistic excellence
A presentation in a virtual exhibition of the three finalists’ work
Promotional marketing through social media and email campaigns
A 1-hour virtual advisory consultation with Amie Potsic, CEO & Principal of Amie Potsic Art Advisory, LLC

Eligibility: Visual artists over the age of 18 years of any nationality, age, religion, and gender are encouraged to apply
Accepting entries in all media: painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, video, performance, installation, printmaking, new media, etc
Awardees: One winner and three finalists to be announced in March 2023
Selected artists: high-resolution images will need to be provided by the winner and finalists for Virtual Exhibitions and marketing materials
