Thought Art Magazine is a bi-annually contemporary visual arts publication, focusing on contemporary fine art and craft from emerging to established artists around the world. This is a juried arts publication, in which various art principals and criteria are considered. These include, but are not limited to: originality, technique, use of media, skill-level, and presentation. Guest juror(s) will be announced for each issue.

Accepting all contemporary and fine art genre submissions. Submissions are open internationally. All work must have been completed within the years 2015-2023 and not previously exhibited at any Thought Art issue or virtual exhibition. Eligible media include, but are not limited to: drawing, painting, photography, mixed media, oil/chalk pastels, block/ink print, pottery/vessels, sculpture, assemblage, digital art, collage, metal work, jewelry design, fiber/textile art, wood work, contemporary craft, soft sculpture, and weaving / tapestry. If a genre, medium or material you specialize in is not listed, please email thoughtartmagazine@gmail.com to provide specifics about your work.

Issues of the magazine are released bi-annually, on the 15th of January and July.

Submissions are open year round on a rolling basis. All submissions are carefully reviewed in the order in which they are received. Multiple and simultaneous submissions, as well as previously published work, are welcome as long as the artist(s) hold the copy/publishing rights.
