Alki Art Fair Board of Directors is looking for a new Treasurer to join our team:
As the board Treasurer, you’ll work with the Board President and a contract accountant to oversee the organization’s financial health, manage the budget, accounts receivable/payable, and meet compliance requirements, including tax payments and filings. We’re a small organization, so the duties of Treasurer should be easily manageable within a reasonably short period of time. All board positions are volunteer. We’d prefer someone with finance/accounting experience. Ideally, you reside in West Seattle; you can consistently commit to attending our Wed. night meetings (once a month) and some additional time outside of meetings; you have an affinity for our mission; and you enjoy collaborating and working with creative folks.
