Seattle Print Arts (SPA), in partnership with Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA), invites submissions for Under Pressure: Contemporary Political Prints, a juried exhibition exploring political realities through printmaking. This exhibition provides a platform for artists to engage themes such as power, resistance, oppression, identity, governance, and social change, continuing printmaking’s historic role in amplifying public voice and political expression.

Open to current SPA and CoCA members (membership available to all), submissions must include non-digital printmaking processes such as etching, lithography, relief, letterpress, or screen printing. Hybrid and experimental approaches are encouraged; purely digital prints and photography will not be accepted.

Juror: Judy Lee (weBelong Seattle).
Prizes: $250 First Prize; two $125 Runner-Up awards.
Deadline: May 7
Notification: May 15
