The Storytellers Alliance presents:
WHAT’S YOUR STORY
A creative anthology of YOUR stories.
Real people. Real life.
Everyone has a story … what’s yours?
What’s Your Story is now accepting submissions for the 2020 issue, themed: Stranger than Fiction.
Submit your best pop culture, current events, coronavirus-quarantine-social distance stories during this unprecedented experience for our generation.
Considering the current state of the world, we want to encourage you to keep creating during this period of turbulence and isolation and use expressive arts as an outlet and healing modality. While many of us are living through the same events, each of our experiences is different from the other. Share your unique perspective in the form of creative non-fiction (CNF), poetry, fiction, or visual storytelling.
These are YOUR stories, YOUR visions, and YOUR experiences.
Factors considered for publication will be artistic originality, craftsmanship, and excellence. Submissions can be visual or literary works by emerging or established artists.
There is no fee to submit.
Guidelines for submission are as follows:
- Include a brief (100 word max) bio &/or description of your piece
- All written submissions must be 12pt font
- poems (2-4 works);
- art & photography (2-4 works, vertical orientation);
- prose & drama (up to 750 words).
- Title each submission: Last Name_genre (essay, poem, CNF, photo, etc)
- NOTE: if submitting multiple items, add number (ex: Smith_poem_1, Smith_poem_2)
Authors and artists reserve rights to submitted work, with implied permission given to The Storytellers Alliance to use selected works as part of a community collaboration project in the What’s Your Story 2020 Anthology.
