Roy Powell​

Roy has lived in Washington state his entire life, and for the past twenty years, he has lived in Seattle. In 2006, Roy graduated from Seattle University with a degree in painting and printmaking. From 2010 – 2014 he worked as a full-time artist with a day job, showing his paintings and prints in galleries and coffee shops around town regularly. In 2012, he graduated from the Artist Trust EDGE Program, a massive accomplishment for his career as an artist and independent businessperson. Roy pivoted and earned his real estate license in 2014, and he has been selling homes with Team Diva at Coldwell Banker Bain ever since. While he is not making as much artwork as he used to, Roy still attends visual and performance art events locally and statewide as often as possible.
