Welcome and Farewell – Staff Transitions at Artist Trust

As the seasons change, we are also experiencing change here at Artist Trust. While we are sad to say goodbye to our long-time Communications Manager Elizabeth Colzani, we are thrilled to introduce our new Communications Manager, Arel Watson! Elizabeth will be working with us through the end of the month. Arel’s first day is September 22.

Welcome, Arel!
Born and raised in Mobile, AL, Arel is a Photographer & DJ of many crafts and talents. He moved to Seattle in 2014 to pursue a passion for marketing/communications in the music/art world to showcase the untold history and story of what came before and what is to come. Before Artist Trust, he has done this through his own community projects focused on showcasing the history and artist of underground culture within music with House Party SEA.

 

Farewell, Elizabeth
We’re wishing a fond farewell to our Communications Manager, Elizabeth Colzani! After moving back to Michigan in June, Elizabeth is leaving her position of over two years at Artist Trust to start a new chapter in Detroit with her husband, while continuing to pursue a career in marketing and communications. When asked what she’ll miss most, Elizabeth said, “I will miss the AT team the most! We’ve been through a lot together in the past year and a half, but it brought us all closer. Each person at Artist Trust is so special, smart, and hard-working – I look up to all of them and have learned by their example. From sharing hilarious memes and GIFs over Teams to making impactful change at the organization, I will miss it all. Goonies never say die.”
