About

Dahveed Bullis is professional actor and director with 20 years of experience in the arts (Stage & Film). He is an alumnus of Eastern Washington University’s Theatre Arts Program. He is the co-founder of Spokane Playwrights Laboratory, he runs the theatre arts program at Company Ballet School (2017-present), he was the Assistant Director of Theatre at West Valley High School from 2014-2016 and has been an adjunct professor at Spokane Falls Community College. His focus as an artist is to impart his love for community building, script analysis, character development and honest representation through advocation and honest storytelling. As a playwright, Dahveed’s unique approach to telling the stories of societies underdogs is consistently on display. Whether advocating for the minimum wage workers or shining a spotlight on the disabled community his unwavering focus on crafting human beings in unique situations is always in sight. Dahveed is a father, brother and son who has lived in Spokane his entire life and has committed to building a community of growth and support.
