Grants for Artist Projects 2019
Learn About Grants for Artist Projects

Gina Williams is a multi-genre performing artist. The Canadian-born Washington resident is a singer, pianist, songwriter, and composer. She has a Master’s Degree from the University of Alberta and completed the year program for ‘Acting for Film & Television’ at the Vancouver Film School in Vancouver, B.C. Her art centers around positives themes without ignoring the gritty side of life.

Gina received a 2019 GAP Award to allow her to present a concert at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. Her concerts involve the stories behind her music – giving the audience an opportunity to laugh, cry, and express their emotions as she facilities the process of much needed healing through entertainment. Funding will support “Winter Classics,” a concert featuring original music and well-know classics including music of Etta James and Whitney Houston. This valuable funding will allow her the opportunity to continue to bridge genres and generations at these performances.
