Jan Hopkins is a fiber artist and basket maker. Jan creates primarily figurative female sculptures and has been inspired by traditional craft and textiles throughout her career. She won the 2012 Samuel and Patricia Smith People’s Choice Award at Bellevue Arts Museum’s BAM Biennial 2012: High Fiber Diet, for her piece Oh Eleanor.
