About

Kevin Miller has been a Jack Straw writer and has received grants from the City of Tacoma Arts Commission. Pleasure Boat Studio published Miller’s most recent collection Home & Away: The Old Town Poems in 2009. Blue Begonia Press published Everywhere Was Far in 1998 and Light That Whispers Morning in 1994. He taught in the public schools of Washington State for 39 years.

Kevin received a 2013 GAP to assist with time and materials in order to complete a manuscript tentatively titled Smoke and Miracles. The project centers on an initial section, which is a long poem. Upon completion of this inital section, the author will work to create a cohesion with other sections of single-page poems.
