Learn About Grants for Artist Projects (GAP)

Lindsey Bloomfield is a ceramic sculptor and designer born and raised in Washington State. She worked as an industrial design for over a decade and uses her background to bridge the gap between art and design. As a ceramic sculptor and designer, her work strives to create unencumbered movement in stiff brittle ceramic structures. Many of her pieces incorporate bisecting geometric shapes, revolved forms, and floating hand thrown rings. She earned her bachelors degree in Industrial Design at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, her Masters in Graphics design at Florence Institute of Design International and is a Winner of a 2017 Red Dot design award.
