About
Rob Arnold has spent the past decade in publishing and literary advocacy, co-founding the online magazine Memorious and holding key roles at Ploughshares, Fence Books, The National Poetry Series, Grid Books, and Aevitas Creative Management. He was also a digital marketing specialist at Beacon Press, and associate director of PEN New England. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in RED INK, The Gettysburg Review, Hyphen, Poetry Northwest, Yes Poetry, and The Ocean State Review, among others. He lives near Seattle, where he curates events for Hugo House.
Rob Arnold received 2018 GAP Award funding to complete a memoir-in-verse exploring the fissures of family and identity, as fragmented and reshaped by the imperfections of memory. GAP Award funding will allow him to dedicate more resources to research and critical time to finish the composition of the book.
Artist Trust thanks the Amazon Literary Partnership for underwriting this award through Artist Trust’s Corporate Partnership program. For information about supporting Washington State artists, visit here.
