About

Charlotte has been awarded residencies at Kohler Co, Pilchuck Glass School, The Creative Glass Center of America at Wheaton Village, and Pratt Fine Arts Center.  She has received the Charles Anders Scholarship for Jewelry, the Jon and Mary Shirley Award for Glass, an Artist Trust Fellowship and a Seattle Arts Commission Purchase Award. Her work has been featured in  Metalsmith magazine, American Craft, and New Glass.

Charlotte Meyer, originally from England, received a degree in textile design from Nottingham Trent University in 1991 and an MFA in Sculpture form Pratt Institute in 2009. She has lived in the U.S. for fifteen years.  While at Pratt Institute Charlotte received the Joan Mitchell Foundation Award, the Anthony Gennarelli Sculpture Award, and a scholarship to attend the Art History in Venice program.

Charlotte currently holds the position of Adjunct Professor at R.I.S.D. and Artist Guide at Judd Foundation.

Charlotte also received GAPs in 1997 and 2002.
