Shantell Jackson

Shantell is a multimedia visual artist, she has spent the last 17 years in the Pacific Northwest by way of Buffalo New York where she was raised. Shantell has been creating artwork and poetry for over 12 years. Curiosity and Wonder are hallmarks of her artistic process. Shantell creates ‘in process’. Meaning each piece is a journey that may have an overall theme be it color or texture. Most recently Shantell has spent the last 4 months of a 6-month residency at “The Hive” where she has been exploring mark making and scaling her work up and creating collections of larger bodies of work.
